Yeah, but did you go from Hot Springs?
ToA and Fishermans Harbor henches are lvl 15 and far more able to handle the heat than the lvl 12 henches from Hot Springs.
If you go from Hot Springs you're effectively on your own. Or you need to be a monk.

Ashley: The key to doing Elona (the 30 minute mission) with henches is that if any player carries ANYTHING the monsters will only attack him. If you're a warrior, pick up a mine (or a crystal), and let the mobs pound you - as the monsters wont attack anyone else in the party, even Alesia can keep you alive, and the other henches will eventually kill off the mobs. As long as you don't draw multiple groups of enemies and know where you're going, the mission is really very simple. It's probably even possible to do the bonus this way, although I've not tried.

Still haven't found a way of doing Thirsty River with henches, though. They just don't do enough damage to kill off multiple mobs in under 2 minutes, and if I rush the enemy monk I lose half the team (and being a warrior I only have one resurrection signet).

I hate timed missions.

Anything up to Dreadnaught's and the Frozen Forest are pretty manageable with henchies, but as always, it depends on your classes as well. As a healing monk, I'm just trying to keep them up until they slowly butcher the opponents away (and it takes a lot of time with henchies ). So basically what I have to avoid is massive groups of opponents with healers - exactly what you get in the Drift or the Forest.

Going from Bergen to the ToA is a cakewalk, I've never had any problems there. Hell, the last part I can walk alone (just don't use the path where you will get destroyed by the patrolling undead riders). From the temple to Galrath isn't that difficult either, just the last part up the hill (still fighting undead, not the rogues) depends on how they spawned. Sometimes you'll get only four archers, sometimes you'll get the whole package with a boss. First case is easy, second case could involve a wipe

As for doing Elona with henchies - that mission is so easy once you get it, I've done it with bonus and nearly 10 minutes remaining. Henchies are not so bad once you know their behaviour and plan in advance.

EDIT: If you start from Bergen for Galrath, I strongly recommend to make the trip to ToA and move on from there. You may waste 5 minutes before Kessex that way but you'll save them afterwards because of the better henchies.

I've cleared Dreadnought's with hench from the fort side, I think it's impossible to go from the lornars side with hench. You only get 5 others and they're lower level. The worms will kill them all or the avicara if you get very lucky.

I managed to get the elite from Issah Sshay (Ether renewal in my case) with my Ele/Me20 and only henchies. I failed the 2 minute time cap but since I had killed the priest within the time he couldn't revive anyone. So only the lvl24 boss was left. It was though, took me 5 minutes (I was out of energy bcos of a hench rushed the 2 groups of forgottens) but I got it with only Stefan dead once.

I dunno if it can be done to the end, but I think its possible if you wait to attack to a timer closer to 4, 6, 8 minutes etc. I mean, start the attack in 3:45, 5:45 etc.

I took Stefan, Little Thom, Alesia, Reyna and the Cultist (he did a great job with my energy regen, and I dont even remember his name, shame on me lol)
